Modern Exterior
Charcoal ACM and Teak WPC Define Edgar Ave Office Exterior
Design Goals
- The design needed to feel bold and modern without being too industrial
- Key architectural features—like the staircase volume and canopy edges—had to stand out with clean lines
- The materials had to work together visually while being durable and low-maintenance
Our Solution
- Charcoal ACM Panels: Installed around the stair tower and canopy bands to create structure and highlight the building’s lines
- Teak WPC Fluted Panels: Used in smaller vertical areas to bring in natural texture and soften the contrast with the black framing
- Low-Maintenance Finish: Both materials were chosen for their ability to stay clean-looking and weather-resistant year-round
Results
- The building now has a strong, modern presence with clearly defined features
- The charcoal ACM keeps the look clean and professional
- The wood-tone panels add warmth without adding upkeep
Project Overview
This newly built office building on Edgar Ave uses charcoal ACM panels to frame key parts of the structure—including the stair tower and horizontal canopy lines. The goal was to keep the look clean, modern, and consistent with the rest of the exterior finishes. Teak-toned fluted panels were added in select areas to warm up the darker tones and create balance across the facade.
