Modern Exterior

Modern Grey ACM and Teak WPC Transform Greenwood Avenue Toronto Home

Design Goals

  • The original exterior looked plain and didn’t reflect the home’s modern architecture
  • The homeowner wanted materials that were clean, durable, and low-maintenance
  • The narrow front needed contrast and texture to avoid looking flat, but still had to feel simple and uncluttered.

Our Solution

  • Charcoal and Metallic Grey ACM: Installed across the full facade to create smooth, modern lines and a crisp, low-maintenance finish.
  • Teak WPC Fluted Panels: Used around windows and the front entry to soften the darker tones and add visual warmth.
  • Built-in Contrast: Clean transitions between ACM colors and fluted textures created just the right amount of depth and curb appeal without overcomplicating the look.

Results

  • The home now stands out on the street with a clean, modern look
  • The mix of dark ACM and teak tones adds balance and contrast
  • Panels hold up to all seasons with no repainting or maintenance needed
Project Overview

This modern home on Greenwood Avenue features a narrow frontage and sits in a dense Toronto neighborhood. To give it a clean, striking look from the street, most of the front facade was clad in fire-resistant ACM panels. The use of metallic grey and charcoal ACM created smooth, modern surfaces, while teak-toned fluted panels added warmth and contrast around the entryway and windows.
