Modern Exterior

Black ACM and Cherry Siding Bring Contrast to Plateau Crescent Toronto Home

Design Goals

  • Use materials that can handle direct sunlight without fading or warping
  • Introduce color and texture contrast to break up large sections of glass and stone
  • Keep the design clean, modern, and low-maintenance

Our Solution

  • Black ACM Panels: Installed above the front entry and around the upper windows to create sharp lines and protect surfaces that get the most sun
  • Light Cherry Aluminum Siding: Used to warm up the darker tones and add depth without overpowering the design
  • Sun-Resistant Assembly: All materials were chosen for durability in full-sun conditions—no fading, no cracking, no maintenance headaches

Results

  • The home now has a strong visual identity with clean lines and warm accents
  • Both panel systems hold up to direct sun and Toronto’s changing seasons
  • The combination of modern colors and durable materials adds long-term value and curb appeal
Project Overview

This modern home on Plateau Crescent sits on a corner lot with full sun exposure for most of the day. To protect the facade and keep it looking sharp long-term, we used premium aluminum panels that stand up to direct sunlight and weather. The contrast between the black ACM and the warm cherry siding gives the home a bold but balanced look that complements the stone and brick elements throughout.
