Modern Exterior

Riverside Boulevard, Vaughan Custom ACM Cladding and WPC Siding Installation

Design Goals

  • Frame large glass areas so the exterior feels solid
  • Clearly define each floor with horizontal elements
  • Use wood-tone elements to balance the matte black panels
  • Keep all lines straight, aligned, and consistent
  • Use durable, low-maintenance materials suitable for Toronto’s climate

Our Solution

  • Fabricated and installed custom-fitted matte black ACM panels to frame floor lines, balconies, and slab edges
  • Installed WPC planks in a Brazilian IPE color as vertical features to introduce warmth and break up dark surfaces
  • Detailed ACM returns and corners to keep edges crisp and controlled
  • Finished soffits and recessed areas with clean aluminum panels for a consistent underside finish
  • Maintained consistent joint spacing across all materials for a tight, finished look

Results

  • Large glass areas feel framed and intentional
  • Clear separation between floors without visual clutter
  • Matte black ACM provides structure and contrast
  • Warm WPC elements balance the darker cladding
  • A modern exterior that looks clean and consistent from the street and side elevations
Project Overview

This custom home on Riverside Blvd. in Vaughan features large glass openings, deep overhangs, and clean horizontal lines. With this amount of glazing on the front elevation, solid cladding was needed so the exterior didn’t look thin or unfinished. The design combines matte black ACM with warm wood-tone WPC to keep the facade sharp, grounded, and easy to read from the street.
