Design Goals
- The client wanted a bold, modern exterior with strong contrast and texture
- The material choices needed to feel upscale but still low-maintenance
- Detailing was important—especially around the entrance and upper terrace
- The exterior had to feel modern and welcoming—while staying clean, durable, and easy to care for.
Our Solution
- Wood Grain ACM Panels: Installed at the entrance and terrace with the grain direction carefully aligned, creating a clean, high-end wood look.
- Black ACM Trim: Used to frame key features like the terrace and canopy edges, adding bold contrast across the front of the home
- WPC Fluted Panels: Teak and black fluted panels were used around the entrance to add warmth and texture without overwhelming the design.
Results
- The entrance now looks sharp, welcoming, and high-end without being flashy
- Aligned grain patterns give the home a custom-built, designer-level finish
- Materials require little upkeep and will keep their color and texture over time
Project Overview
This modern home on Rossland Rd. W uses a striking mix of black and wood-tone cladding to highlight its architecture. The large front entrance and side terrace are wrapped in custom ACM panels, designed with precise grain alignment for a clean, upscale finish. Woodgrain ACM and WPC panels bring warmth to the sharp lines of the black facade, making the home feel modern without looking cold or industrial.
