Modern Exterior

Charcoal ACM and Fluted Wood Planks Add Bold Detail to Sonata Crescent Toronto Home

Design Goals

  • Highlight the home’s modern geometry using sharp, bold lines
  • Soften the look with wood-tone siding for warmth and balance
  • Deliver a long-lasting, low-maintenance cladding system

Our Solution

  • Black ACM Panels: Used across upper volumes and the entry canopy to anchor the home with clean architectural lines
  • Walnut-Tone Aluminum Siding: Installed horizontally around windows and lower levels to introduce natural warmth
  • Clean Detailing: Tight panel alignment and precision fabrication for sharp reveals and long-term performance

Results

  • A striking, modern exterior with bold contrast and refined details
  • Walnut-tone siding breaks up the dark cladding for a more balanced, welcoming look
  • Durable materials that resist fading, weathering, and maintenance headaches
Project Overview

This modern home on Sonata Crescent in Toronto uses a clean, high-contrast material palette to achieve bold curb appeal. Black ACM panels define the top floor and entry canopy, creating sharp lines and a structured silhouette. To balance the dark tones, we added horizontal walnut-tone aluminum siding for warmth and visual texture. The result is a modern exterior that’s both eye-catching and timeless—with every element built to perform in Canadian weather.
